The CA (M) series are single stage, self-priming “jet” pumps with 304 stainless steel bodies & impellers (CA (M)80: thermoplastic). Motor supports are in aluminium, with venturis in thermoplastic. They have stainless steel shafts, fitted with carbon ceramic & NBR mechanical seals & have IP44 motors. Single phase motors incorporate an overload protection device. They are designed for pumping clean water only at a maximum temperature of 35ºC. They should not be allowed to run dry, but by fitting an optional pressure controller, they can be protected from this & also start & stop them automatically. (The CA (M)80 & CA (M)88, when fitted with a Logicpress, are available with an optional steel protection frame for portable use). Maximum recommended suction lift, when primed, is 8 metres. The pumps offer a wide pressure range for industrial boosting purposes, while their low operating noise, low power consumption also make them popular for a variety of domestic & horticultural applications.
