After a painstaking search, we have secured the very best oak casks from some of the great vineyards of the world for our Glenmorangie Extra Matured range....In the Footsteps of Pioneers. Our pursuit of perfection has endured over 165 years, starting in 1843 with the installation of the tallest whisky stills in Scotland. It has continued with our insistence on using American white oak casks in which to age our whisky. These casks are ideal for Glenmorangie, adding a natural sweetness to the subtle tastes of our spirit. As we only use our casks twice whilst many others refill their casks many times, Glenmorangie
