A spa day at this practice is different to that of a spa centre or hotel in that this is a private home setting. However, the treatments you receive here are far more client centred & you will receive a treatment that is specifically treating your symptoms or problems. The spa day starts with a brief chat on why you are here & what you hope to achieve at the end of your spa day
- you may be here as a treat to yourself or you may have an aim which is to practice some of the techniques in your own life afterwards. During this spa day you can choose between spending more time on Mindfulness exercises working in deep restorative poses & breathing or through massage. This is your day & so you can choose what treatments you would like to experience more of. You have the opportunity to choose from 4 of these treatments to focus on more deeply however you will be experiencing all of them throughout the Spa Day: Pranayama, Mindfulness, Restorative poses Guided Meditation & Reiki Foot Soak & Foot massage with reflexology Indian head massage or Raynor head Massage Full Body Massage Facial The day begins with Pranayama, Mindfulness & deep restorative poses on the yoga mat. If you are here specifically for stress management we will use examples in your own life to work with to let go of any physical or emotional tension building up in you body. Next, you will experience a traditional thai foot massage beginning with a foot soak in 100% pure essential oils & herbs. You may want to bring a book to read during this foot soak or lay back & relax. Next you will receive a foot massage & reflexology treatment. After your reflexology treatment you will choose between: Indian head massage or Raynor head massage treatment. An Indian head massage uses more oil & this is deeply nourishing for the scalp & your hair whilst a Raynor head massage focuses more on the massaging of the scalp. Then you will receive a full body massage including hands, stomach & hips. The day will end with an aromatherapy facial using 100% pure essential oils & organic base oils.
