- 3 ½ table lamp & PH 3/2 Academy pendant. The story behind the Henningsen PH 3/2 Pendant Lamp One of the most prolific lighting designers of his time, Henningsen created a series of '3 shade' lamps. All featured the same signature characteristics of 3 petal-shaped shades but in different sizes. His PH 3/2 range was introduced in 1925-26 at the Forum exhibition centre in Copenhagen. It was an addition to the original PH Lamp or ' Paris Lamp' showcased in 1924 at the Paris World Exhibition. The name 3/2 refers to 3:2:1 ratio of the lamp's shades.
