The beautiful woodland tulip has been naturalised in the UK for centuries, but nowadays, is rarely seen in the wild. Their fragrant, bright golden, star-shaped blooms have an elegant simplicity that sets them apart from the showy modern cousins. Plant wild tulips in large swathes for maximum impact, or naturalize them in areas of long grass. Cut some tulip flowers for a vase, so that you can enjoy them indoors too!
