A romantic climbing plant, Wisteria sinensis Prolific produces very long, pendant racemes of lilac&45;violet, deliciously fragrant flowers from mid&45;spring through to early summer. A dense covering of feathery, divided leaves provide interest throughout summer, turning buttery yellow before falling in autumn. This variety of Chinese Wisteria is more reliable than the straight species, producing fuller flowers from an early age. A wonderful addition to walls, pergolas or even trained up large trees, Wisteria sinensis Prolific has been awarded an RHS AGM for its oustanding garden performance.
