Much like snowdrops & aconites, Hellebore plants are essential for gardeners who wish to create an attractive, colourful winter landscape. Helleborus typically flower from February to April but can bloom as early as December, giving them the common name Christmas Rose. This variety, ' Single Pink Spotted', produces unusual, pale pink flowers with darker dots decorating each petal. These blooms are cup-shaped & nodding, so make great cut flowers as well as a nice addition to borders & patio containers. The hardy perennial continues to earn its place in cottage, woodland & wildlife gardens throughout the summer months, when its evergreen foliage provides excellent ground cover in shady areas.
