This unusual perennial sunflower produces more & more blooms as its stem gets higher. The 7cm (3”) wide, golden yellow blooms of Helianthus maximiliani appear all the way up the stem in a tower of colour. Maximilian sunflowers have a sweet chocolate fragrance & make lovely cut flowers. Perfect for growing alongside hollyhocks at the back of cottage garden borders.
