Related to the African violet, these striking Gloxinia produce an abundance of showy, rich violet blooms with white edges, above rosettes of velvety leaves with red flushed undersides. The wide funnel shaped flowers appear over a long flowering period from June to September each year. Gloxinia Kaiser Willhelm requires a minimum temperature of 15C (59F) so it is best grown in containers that can be moved in winter to a warm greenhouse or conservatory, or on a bright windowsill indoors.
Height: 20cm (8”).
