Commonly known as Shooting Stars, this unusual perennial deserves to be more widely grown in UK gardens. The spring blooms are similar to Cyclamen, with reflexed petals & a lovely deep pink colour, but carried on much taller, 45cm &40;18&34;&41; stems. Dodecatheon meadia loves a cool, shady spot where it will add a splash of colour to spring planting schemes. By midsummer, the rosettes of foliage begin to die back & the plant enters a summer resting period before reappearing the following spring. Perfect for damp borders, woodland areas & pondside planting schemes. Height & Spread 45cm &40;18&34;&41;.
