Soft white tones bring light into the room providing a stunning fresh feel to the interior & deep brushing on the surface creates a true authentic wood touch, highlighting the natural grain structure. Our Galleria Elite Aged White Oak 150mm Brushed & Lacquered Engineered Flooring is 150mm wide with a total thickness of 18mm which comes in random lengths of 500mm-1700mm, with an average length of 900mm. The Engineered floor has a 4.0mm hardwood layer which can be sanded & re-finished up to 6 times. However, under a normal maintenance guide & in a domestic environment the floor should not need to be sanded for around 20 years. This being a multi-ply engineered floor means that under the hardwood layer is 11 layers of high quality Birch plywood. These thin layers not only offer the best stability of any engineered floor they also help with the impact & dent resistance of the floor. Each of the planks has bevelled edges (V Grooves) on all four sides resulting in very distinctive groove between the planks, adding more depth & dimension along with giving an individual definition to each plank. The rustic grade of this hardwood can display heavy grain markings, figuring, mineral streaks, sapwood & frequent knots of varying sizes. Knot holes, checks splits of varying sizes filled & finished bring character to the floor.. The floor is prefinished with a very durable matt lacquer which allows the wood to appear very natural, visually similar to oiled floor, the lacquer also gives great protection to the hardwood itself & allows for easier cleaning & maintenance.
