Galleria Classic Rustic Oak 189mm Unfinished Engineered Flooring is 189mm wide, has a total thickness of 14mm & comes in standard lengths of 1860mm. The floor has a 3.0mm hardwood layer which if need can be sanded & re-finished up to 4 times, but under a normal maintenance program & in a domestic environment the floor should not need to be sanded for around 20 years. This is a 3 ply engineered floor so it is made from 3 different layers, one being the hardwood wear layer with the other 2 being constructed from spruce. Each of the planks has bevelled edges (V Grooves) on the two long sides resulting in very distinctive groove between the planks, adding more depth & dimension along with giving an individual definition to each plank. The rustic grade of this hardwood is a very vibrant colourful floor full of character & excitement. The floor can display heavy grain markings, figuring, mineral streaks, colour variations, sapwood & frequent knots of varying sizes. Knot holes, checks splits & other imperfections are allowed, filled & finished. This floor comes sanded but unfinished, ready for the installers to finish the floor how the customer wishes. With the use of different colour stains & oils this means that you can really create a bespoke floor.
