Twinings History of Tea Mug No 2 LUYU a generous over sized porcelain mug with the first illustration from the Twinings History of Tea edition by young artist Fanny Shorter The history behind this tea mug design; In 760 Chinese sage, Lu Yu wrote, The Classic of Tea. The drinks popularity spread to Japan where Lu Yu's book helped to influence the Tea Ceremony that is now synonymous with Japanese culture today.
