An Assam tea from the best quality peak second flush This tea is picked from the peak second flush of the Jorhat & Dibrugarh districts, where some of the very best Assams are found. Everything from the aroma to the flavour evokes visions of the mighty Brahmaputra River & the plains nearby. This superb Assam blend is a delicious tea, rounded & robust. Drier growing conditions before the monsoons mean slower growth but more intense flavour. Using a high quality grade, golden broken orange pekoe leaves, allows more of this character to escape into the brew. The result is a wonderfully aromatic cup of tea. The sweet malty flavour. The clear, deep red glow. This blend perfectly represents the defining characteristics of great Assam. The second flush Golden Broken Orange Pekoe gives a clear, deep red liquor when brewed. Enjoy on its own, with a splash of milk or with a slice of lemon. ...

Grown on the fertile flood plains of the Brahmaputra river, this green tea delivers a cup with an initial sweet mellowness, yielding to a mature grassy character. The flavour is further lengthened by a hint of fresh green wood. ...
