Slow grown on uniquely high elevations & produced with skill & care that makes these teas truly beautiful. This tea has been first picked by h&, exclusively for Twinings. Tea weight: 250g Each tea order will be dispatched with in a special commemorative box Tasting Notes Leaf A very attractive succulent & vibrant green wiry green leaf, displaying larger green flake, embellished with a high volume of pale silvery tips. Infusion This First invoice from 2012 Orthodox Chamong produces a clear & bright Rosie coloured liquor and yields a perfectly smooth & balanced cup whose character is made exceptional by very gentle juicy peachy fruit notes, without a heavy muscatel perfume. The long lingering fresh grassy sensation is completely attributable to first flushes. Accompanying thoughts of a light nutty spiciness make this a great tea for pairing. The body notes soon appear giving way to a delicate fruity / fresh fruit taste with peachy character that tails with a gentle sweetness, making it an easy drinker that you will continually come back for. Most probably a tea you would usually take with milk or sugar with – simply great on its own Food Paring The light fruit tones make this a great tea to enjoy with soft gentle cheeses as both have a fruity creamy quality.
