This Joule group cooking system from Jetboil uses clever regulator technology & an inverted gas canister placement to provide consistent & powerful heat output down to -12°C. The inverted cannister means the burner is working on liquid gas producing a much more powerful flame, whilst the regulator controls output & pressure even when the temperature plummets. Despite the fearsome 10, 000 BTU output the Joule is capable of controlled simmering for those al-fresco gourmet meals. Ignition is achieved by the built in push button igniter. The large 2.5 litre cooking pot has the innovative Jetboil flux ring technology which drastically reduces boil times, saving fuel & getting nourishment into you quickly. The Flux ring protects the burner from the wind & hugely increases the surface area of the base of the cooking pot to make sure all the heat is directed there & not wasted up the sides. Boil time for a litre of water in good conditions is around 2 minutes & 30 seconds. The cooking pot features a locking/folding handle, heat proof insulating sleeve & a see through lid with built in strainer; making it perfect for everybodys favourite, Super Noodles! The Joule will work with either a 100g or a 230g cannister & the whole set up will pack into the cooking pot for easy storage & transportation.
