The Yurt is a magical structure located deep in a hidden part of the forest in Powys, letting you escape from the hurly-burly of modern life & enjoy the beauty of nature in comfortable surroundings.  Inside the Yurt, there is a comfy double bed, organic bed linen & sheepskins with simple but beautiful furniture, not forgetting a cosy wood burning stove. It is plush & rustic all at the same time. Cooking wise, there is a small gas stove inside, with all cooking utensils provided & a fridge box with freezer packs ready for your fresh ingredients. The Yurt offers comfortable accommodation in a beautifully remote setting.  Each has its own washing & toilet unit with a fresh spring water shower & basin situated just a few yards outside. You can take forest & mountain walks as you find the time to relax & breathe again, reconnecting to yourself & loved ones. The remote & stunningly beautiful location is on a 1.300 acre farm, about 7 miles north-east of Machynlleth. The site is 4 (and a bit) miles up a forest track which leads you through the landscape of the valley & the surrounding hills. Please be aware that as we are so remote, there is no electricity & limited infrastructure, all that we do in this place has a direct impact on the land & its eco system so we really try to keep it & its impact to a minimum.  There are no inhabited houses for a 2 mile radius so this enables a great opportunity to stargaze with minimal light pollution which gives you a completely different perspective on a clear & starry night.
