Close protection training (Armed bodyguard) is a fascinating event. This normally closed & elusive subject is now available for the 1st time to the general public. Most people’s perception of a body guard is of a burly suit clad minder pushing aside crowds & blocking the paparazzi from coming into contact with their pampered celebrity clients.  However there is a more dangerous side to this adrenaline packed profession. The role of the armed body guard is based on courage, team work & dedication to duty.   The mission is to highlight & teach you some of these key skills. In a hostile environment you need to be able to keep your calm, rely on your training; keep yourself the VIP & your team alive. When the bullets are flying & the insurgents want your head on a plate, throw smoke look for an escape route & put down fire. Your VIP is life dependent on your professionalism & speed to keep them alive. The day will cover a number of essential armed body guarding disciplines such as: Vehicle Extraction Tactics (Armed Body Guards need to use cars & vehicles get the VIP from A to B.
