On this Downton Abbey Tour, you will explore the film locations used in the hit TV series including Downton Village, Downton Place & the home of the Dowager Countess. The tour will showcase some of the wonderful scenery, villages & historic properties that have been used in the show. It will also give you an insight into the making of the show as well as the wonderful history of the places visited throughout the tour. Lasting nine hours, the morning will see you visit Downton Village, Kirkbymoorside, Matthew & Ediths Church & The Swan Inn. You will then have lunch at Downton Place before visiting Dower House in the afternoon. Departing from central London by luxury mini coach, the journey will take Approx. 90 minutes to reach the heart of rural Oxfordshire where several villages have been used in the world of Downton Abbey. As you visit Downton Abbey, you will get a guided tour of familiar sites such as Downton hospital, the village pub, the home of Matthew Crawley & the local church.
