Brewing Experience Day In
Somerset

A great gift for a stag
do and an excellent hobby
based experience for
anyone with an interest
in beer. Experience a
whole day of brewing beer
with a fully functioning
brew house!The day starts
around 10am at the
brewery with a brief
introduction, brewers
breakfast and a run
through the day's
itinerary. Then you will
head on down to the brew
house and begin to
mash-in, with a run
through of the different
malts. Once you're all
mashed-in, it will be
time to head into The
Woodyard for a cup of tea
or coffee (Or maybe some
early beer sampling?) and
more discussion on
beer.Â Next, it will
be time to transfer the
wort from the mashtun to
the copper to begin the
boil. Whilst waiting for
the boil, it's back to
the bar for a sampling
session and lunch, with
a short break for adding
hops to the
brew.Â After lunch,
the boil will have
finished, so it will be
time to transfer the wort
to the fermenter. After a
spot of cleaning, it's
back to the bar once more
to spend a wonderful
evening sampling some of
the wonderful beers and
ales.Â A fun and
educational day which
will prove of great
interest to any beer
drinker. Includes a full
day of brewing,
breakfast and a wonderful
pub lunch as well as
