Fanless Slim PC with inbuilt Intel Celeron processor 847 The Shuttle Barebone DS47 comes packed in an extremely robust black steel chassis. With its completely fanless design, two serial interfaces and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, this model opens up special areas of application. In addition to the Intel Celeron processor 847 (2 MB cache, 2x 1.10 GHz) it also has inbuilt Wireless LAN (802.11 b/g/n). At just 39 mm thin, the machine still accommodates up to 16 GB DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM and a 2.5" HDD/SSD with SATA 6 Gbit/s. The advantage of this is that there's less noise, less heat generated and reduced power consumption. However small hard disks in a small housing does not have to mean less memory. Modern 2.5" HDDs are every bit as good as their 3.5" brothers. Fan-less external power supply A highly effective external power supply provides the Shuttle Mini-PC with its energy. And since it works without a fan, it is completely noise-free. Optimal air flow Warm air is transported out of the chassis by means of cleverly arranged components, which enables a large number of parts to be cooled simultaneously in the air flow. At
