- INFRARED This technology uses infrared backlight. A touch event is registered with great accuracy when the infrared light is blocked by a finger or stylus. This technology that does not rely on an overlay or substrate to register a touch event, so it's impossible to physically "wear out" the touchscreen. The infrared technology ensures great picture performance. As there is no overlay or substrate on the screen the display characteristics remain virtually unaffected by the touch functionality. MULTI-TOUCH The multi-touch functionality is supported under Windows 7/8 only. IPS IPS technology offers higher contrast, darker blacks & much better viewing angles than standard TN technology. The screen will look good no matter what angle you look at it. FULL HD With true 1920 x 1080p resolution this LFD is ready to display high definition images. This means it can accommodate more information on the screen; e.g. 60% more in comparison to a 1280 x 1024 monitor. PIP PIP (Picture in Picture) function means that you can watch images coming from two different sources at the same time. VESA VESA mount compliance means you can easily mount the LFD to any mounting that complies with the VESA standard.
