The fabric used to create this blazer is made from 100% pure new wool (340 g/m 2), woven in Engl&. The name is a reference to the crew of the British frigate HMS Blazer, who dressed in blue jackets with gold buttons for a visit by Queen Victoria in 1837. Today, the blazer is a mainstay of civilian wardrobes, too. Worn instead of a tweed jacket with grey trousers, a blazer can be more formal; but worn with jeans & an open collar it can give a much more casual look. Produced by John Magee in Donegal, Northern Irel&, a company which has existed since 1866. Features four piped inside pockets including two breast pockets (one with a button fastening), a pen pocket & a specially designed compartment for a mobile phone. The blazer has two vents at the back, two buttons at the front & four buttons on the cuffs. 100% new wool, lining 100% viscose.
