Product Description

Two exquisite woollen fibres have been combined to create these wonderfully soft & fluffy blankets. The finest Merino & alpaca-woollen fibres are first interwoven before being waulked whilst still wet. This allows the weave to be felted & a loden-type condition is achieved with a high level of firmness & cosiness. A significant proportion of the wool in these socks comes from the alpaca camel, who live at an altitude of up to 5, 000 m in their native South America which gives their coat an isolating quality & is one of the finest & softest wools in the world. Produced by the Steiner family who founded a Loden mill in 1888 at the foot of the Dachstein mountains in Austria. 50% Merino wool, 50% alpaca wool. Washable at 30° C. Do not tumble dry. Available in blackberry, plum, caramel, mocha & white cream. Width 150 cm, length 190 cm.
