Saucer diameter 15 cm, volume 0.2 l. In 1898 Karl Schöner, chief painter at the pottery in Zell in the Black Forest, painted a dish with cocks & hens as a birthday present for his daughter. The " Cock & Hen" design has been in production for over 100 years, & it has now attained almost cult status. Zeller ceramics are distinguished by their high edge stability & are microwave & dishwasher safe. The glazing is free from cadmium & lead. Even today every single item is painted by h&. Each piece is therefore unique.
