Renault 1.4 & 1.6 16v petrol engines require the sprockets to be free to turn if timing adjustments are necessary. This bracket is used to hold the camshaft sprocket whilst releasing the centre bolts. Use in association with VSE5071A.
Suitable for locking the camshaft sprockets in order to release the centre bolts on Renault 1.8/2.0 16v engines. Essential for timing the engine to the correct position.
