The beds are finished off with a durable clear lacquer that helps to accentuate the beautiful grain of the wood. This guest bed set is really easy to use & can be used in a few different configurations. For ease of use, the under bed features little castors that make it really easy to pull out when needed. Also, the legs of the under bed are spring assisted again, making it easy to put up. The beds can either be used as two single beds or pushed together to make a much larger sleeping surface. To complete the sturdiness & quality of these beautiful wooden guest bed frames, they come complete with solid wooden slatted bases that will give maximum support beneath any type of mattress (not included). Please note when purchasing mattresses for the Aspen wooden guest bed, the under bed mattress depth should be no higher than 17cm in order for it to stow away neatly when not in use.
