This iconic shoe company was founded in the USA in 1952 as a family business. Originally selling waterproof work boots, the brand quickly grew in size and reputation. Today they are one of the leading retailers of hiking shoes, casual wear and leather goods. They have over 100 stores worldwide and were the first manufacturer to use injection moulding technology to make their products entirely waterproof. As well as being a market leader in the work wear industry the brand have also branched out into clothing for men and women such as jackets, casual clothing, jeans and accessories. The brand Timberland are known the world over for their high quality and hard wearing products and are seen today as a sought after designer brand.
