Pear Concorde produces a heavy crop of pale green, large pears with firm flesh & excellent flavour, even on a young tree. The fruits are ready to harvest from September to November & will store well until January. Enjoy them at their best by picking Concorde pears slightly under&45;ripe, store them in a cool place & bring them indoors to ripen slowly. These strong growing trees are partially self&45;fertile but make the ideal planting partner for other varieties such as Williams Bon Chretien to aid pollination & increase the yield. If you only have room for one tree then make sure that a neighbour has a tree close by that can act as suitable pollinator. Rootstock: Quince A. Height & spread: Up to 4m &40;13&41;. Please note, fruit trees will be despatched as early as possible this autumn, once they have gone dormant & are in the ideal condition for lifting from the nursery & for transplanting by our customers
