- French bred Lilac ' Belle de Nancy' was first introduced in 1891and remains as popular as ever today! The double mauve pink flowers are borne at the stem tips in dense clusters, emitting a fabulous sweet perfume. Heart shaped foliage cloaks the branching stems, making a pleasing backdrop for summer flowering perennials, or an attractive screening plant.
