Hydrangea Glowing Embers is a compact cultivar that is perfect for small gardens, courtyards & roof top gardens.  It has lovely flowerheads all through summer & into autumn. The colour of the blooms all depends on the type of soil they are planted in. An acidic soil will produce blue flowers & an alkaline soil, pink. This variety will give two flushes of flowers & in autumn the foliage will turn to deep maroon, & the flowers can remain colourful even past the first frosts.
