Green beech is a good candidate when you are planning a hedge or screen. The broad green leaves clothe the trees through spring & summer on intertwining branches & the tree will even hold onto its leaves after they've died in the autumn. The new leaves in spring replace the dead leaves almost seamlessly offering security, screening & interest for almost the whole of the year. Although Fagus sylvatica can grow up to 12 metres it can be maintained at the desired height & density by clipping once or twice a year. Supplied as 50
- 80 cm bareroots (20

Height: 12m (39'). Spread: 8m (26'). Planting distance: 30cm (12).
