Green beech is a good candidate when you are planning a hedge or screen. The broad green leaves clothe the trees through spring & summer on intertwining branches & the tree will even hold onto its leaves after theyve died in the autumn. The new leaves in spring replace the dead leaves almost seamlessly offering security, screening & interest for almost the whole of the year. Although Fagus sylvatica can grow up to 12 metres it can be maintained at the desired height & density by clipping once or twice a year. Supplied as 50 &45; 80 cm bareroots &40;20 &45; 31&34;&41;.
