As well as making for good screening & attractive boundaries, hedges can be wonderful wildlife havens. This is especially true of this Wildlife Hedging Collection, which contains five hardy shrubs that have been carefully chosen to attract birds, insects & other animals. Each of the plants will produce fabulous, pollen-rich flowers from March to July, which are sure to attract many bees & butterflies. Meanwhile, the dense foliage of the Elderberry shrubs will be particularly attractive to nesting birds. In the late summer & early autumn, a variety of creatures will be grateful for the berries, cherries & crab apples they find in your hedgerow. These fruits will allow them to stock up for the winter, ready to repopulate your garden or field the next year. The Wildlife Hedging Collection contains five bareroots of 50-90cm (1'8-2'11): Golden Elderberry, Dog Rose, Elderberry, Crab Apple & Wild Cherry.
