Any seasoned gardener will know that planting a hedge in a costal area can be tricky. Many plants struggle to survive in the salty air, while others cannot endure the strong, sea winds. However, this specially selected collection contains five hardy shrubs that will thrive in even the most barren of coastal gardens: Cherry Laurel, Privet, New Zealand Broadleaf, Golden Privet & Sea Buckthorn. All except the latter of these plants are evergreen, so provide a dense screen as well as an attractive boundary or windbreak all year round. Although they are supplied as 50&45;90cm &40;18&34;&45;211&34;&41; bareroots, the shrubs will soon grow into an interesting, colourful & practical hedgerow. The Coastal Hedging Collection
