Created in Holland in 1983, Clematis ' Multi Blue' flowers have distinct & elaborate centres with large anthers. The flowers are between 8 & 13cm in diameter & the sepals are violet-blue. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position & is a great rambling variety that looks fantastic twining amongs shrubs or growing up large walls & fences. It flowers twice in one season. First in the early summer, followed by a second flush of blooms in late summer.
