Concentrated & complex nose with lovely ripe, intense fruit of black cherry & plums. Fine French oak adds a toasty, smoky aroma. The palate is full, plush & concentrated with great poise & velvety tannins. It has a long, persistent finish. Very complex in quite full-on style that splits the difference between, say, Mornington & Russian River Valley. Great sweetness. Spicy & flattering
