When the flavours of South African grapes meet the elegance of French wine making style...! Born & raised in France, from a Calvados family, Christophe Durand moved to Cape Town in 1995. Beginning as a supplier of premium French wine barrels & very much involved in winemaking, it was only a matter of time until he brought together his knowledge & passion for fines wines into creating his own.
Colour: clean, pale yellow. Nose: lively citrus, apple & tropical fruits. Palate: a beautiful easy drinking wine with an incredible structure followed by a round finish Aromas of tropical fruits honeysuckle & orange blossoms. Enjoy this wine as an Aperitif, with salads, sea food & with white meat. The winemaker's Cuvee Anais Chardonnay 2009 (not available) was served at the wedding reception of Prince Albert II of Monaco, organised by Alain Ducasse. It was the only non-French wine served.
