A blend of selected parcels of fruit sourced from Australia's premium regions. The fruit was fermented in stainless steel potter tanks with regular pumping over to ensure optimum colour, tannin & extraction. After fermentation the wine was matured in a mixture of French & American oak before bottling. Aromas of black cherries, wild berries & some spice. A full bodied red, its palate is intense & rich with dark plum & firm tannins. The aromas & colour hint at the intensity of this wine. A full-bodied red, that will make it an ideal accompaniment to red meats & aged cheeses.
