Kanta Riesling by Egon Muller is a unique winemaking partnership between superstar German winemaker Egon Muller & Michael Andrewartha where German tradition & precision meets the premium, cool climate fruit from the Adelaide Hills.

Colour: pale, straw yellow. Nose: elegant lime, floral & apple. Palate: exceptional wine with exquisite minerality & long, fine, delicate floral & lime flavours. Kanta is the Sanskrit word meaning desired, beloved & beautiful. With this wine Egon Muller brings his own distinctive approach to the Adelaide Hills & appears set to break the mould of Australian Rieslings. Not being a fan of the heavy, rich & full-bodied Clare Valley wines that epitomise Australia's approach to Germany's favourite variety, he has set up shop in a cooler region & produced this lean & elegant take on Aussie Riesling. The result is a refined, floral, bone-dry Riesling with none of the heavy, developed, petrolly notes that wreath so many Australian Rieslings.
