We particularly enjoyed the balance of this wine. It has all the hallmarks you would expect from a St. Estephe, but it also had charming cassis fruit & structured but not drying tannins. It is drinking very well now, but can be laid down for many years. ...

The second-label wine of Chateau Haut-Brion. This wine is deep purplish-red in the glass, with brilliant highlights. Initially slightly reserved on the nose, it develop a fascinating complexity on aeration. Fresh red-berry fruit is accented by hints of warmer aromas, such as cocoa. The initial impression is presence, combining firmness with great finesse. This wine confirms our assessment from recent vintages that La Clarence De Haut-Brion can certainly be considered a great wine. ...

In the 18th century, Clos L’ Eglise with its 14 hectares was considered to be a very big domaine for Pomerol, ahead of about a dozen great wines which formed – & still form –the heart of Pomerol. The estate subsequently took the name of Clos LEglise. However, following succession problems, it was split into two with, on the one side, the original Clos L’ Eglise (Rouchut family) & on the other, Clos LEglise-Clinet (Mauleon family). Clos LEglise therefore has a continuous wine-producing tradition spread of several centuries. The colour is dense ruby/violet. The knock-out nose is evolved, but compelling. Aromas of sweet jammy black cherry liqueur & plump fruit are nicely complemented by smoky new oak. Round & medium to full-bodied, with a voluptuous richness & opulent texture, this hedonistic, low acid, plump, fleshy Pomerol is sexy & hedonistic. ...

A typical Provencal rose that is extremely attractive & well balanced. An invigorating wine with a fresh finish! This is a very clean, dry & crisp rose. Its a pale, delicate pink & has refreshing juicy strawberry & raspberry fruit flavours. This rose is dry, meaning that there is no sugar in it. Its worth bearing in mind that the colour of a rose does not dictate how much sweetness it will have. This salmon-hued rose is well-balanced & has an intense nose of grapefruit & other exotic fruits. ...
