White Herons signature British Cassis is made from succulent blackcurrants grown on the familys Herefordshire estate for 140 years. They dont macerate (distil) fruit to create our liqueur as others do, often resulting in an overly sweet, artificial flavour. Instead, winemaking techniques which retain the intense natural characteristics of blackcurrants are used. British Cassis is sweet at first taste with an irresistibly sharp after-kick.
