Warre's has established itself as one of the most forward thinking Port producers, balancing its long tradition with total dedication to premium quality & successful innovation. Warre's launch of Otima 10 & 20 Year Old Tawny caused a revolution in Port that introduced a completely new concept to consumers, helping to rejuvenate Port's image in the main markets. Otima is now widely acknowledged as the most successful new development in the Port trade for over 25 years. The merit of Otima was to show Port's versatility as an all year round, anytime drink, appealing to both women & men, dispelling many of the myths attached to Port. The clean, modern design was matched by an excellent wine that has been winning Gold & Silver medals at the world's leading blind tasting competitions year after year, leaving no doubt that the quality of the wine is on par with the outstanding, award-winning packaging. ...

The name Warrior was branded on the casks of Warre's finest Reserve Ports since the earliest days of the firm. Suitably flash yet elegant at the same time, the Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon is a rollercoaster of excitement. This perennial overachiever is laced with cherries, dark brooding chocolate, blackberries and liquorice, all with a twist of leather right at the end. This wine is so full of flavour even your granny will do cartwheels. Smooth and enticing, youll be lip-smacking until another glass is poured. What about barbecued beef brisket, slow grilled and tender with some creamy dijon mash and garlicky beans? Or even just a plate of cured salami and a wedge of pecorino, a drizzle of truffled honey. In order to achieve the full flavours in this wine without making it too heavy, we use fruit from some of our younger vines. This allows a delicateness to pervade while still
offering alluring length. Then the wine nestles, undisturbed in our cellars for 18 months with gentle exposure to French oak. The resulting wine is soft and moreish, and certainly ready to drink. No need to decant if you dont want to, just make sure you chill it slightly if the weather is very hot.
