Sipsmiths Barley Vodka is distilled from the finest English Barley spirit & blended with the exceptionally pure water of Lydwell spring, one of the sources of the River Thames. The unique purification properties of the copper still & a cut taken from just the very top of the heart of the distillation run, mean the vodka is so pure that it requires no filtration or adulteration, delivering a deliciously smooth & buttery taste with an extraordinarily soft mouth feel. Nose: Subtle but rounded nuttyness & barley notes, garnished by a hint of spice. For around 3000 years, the Day of the Dead festival has been practised in Mexico, bringing together family & friends, with food at the forefront of their celebrations. Working alongside friends at Chiswick Chillies, Sipsmith crafted a unique recipe combining 7 chillies from around the world. After a full day of tasting a range of chillies from the rather hot Carolina Reaper, to the rich & fruity Chocolate Habanero, to the Black Naga, Sipsmith can confirm these homegrown chillies really do pack a punch. The various chillies are dried & macerated with lime peel, then vapour infused a second batch of lime during distillation to dial up the citrus & balance the spice.
