Sipello is a fruit-forward bittersweet aperitif with a long lasting bitter finish. Theres a lot going on with the sweetness upfront giving way to some light floral notes & a long lasting bitter finish. There are 100 gooseberries in every bottle as well as rhubarb & chuckleberry married to sustainably sourced botanicals from around the world including red sandalwood, cinchona, gentian & wormwood. The colour derives solely from the ingredients. A great riff to many modern & classic cocktails. From the makers
- Sipello is produced using British fruit & ingredients married to sustainably sourced botanicals from around the world. We se wild harvested ingredients where they exist because by definition, these are natural ingredients grown in the wild that are handpicked from a native ecosystem. Meaning they retain their purist natural flavour, largely uninterferred with directly by human influence or interventions. The wild harvested ingredients we use are handpicked to ensure the sustainability of the wild areas from where they are sourced. Organic ingredients are also a key pillar of Sipello's flavour make up as organic ingredients lend our drink the cleanest taste of the botanical ingredients we use
- free of any nasties. Not all our wild harvested ingredients can be certified as organic however. Some can't achieve official certification despite being grown organically because there's no guarantee that there hasn't been any drift from nearby fields or farms. We source ingredients that are ethical & not price led with provenance, traceability & a fair price equalling a fair wage at the heart of our sourcing.

The spirits are distilled on a handmade 300L copper-pot still, the first to launch in London for 190 years. The master distller, Jared Brown, crafts each product by hand in genuinely small batches
- never more than 500 bottles a time, often considerably less. This delivers stunning spirits that are smooth, full of charater & have true intensity of flavour. Sipsmiths Barley Vodka is distilled from the finest English Barley spirit & blended with the exceptionally pure water of Lydwell spring, one of the sources of the River Thames. The unique purification properties of the copper still & a cut taken from just the very top of the heart of the distillation run, mean the vodka is so pure that it requires no filtration or adulteration, delivering a deliciously smooth & buttery taste with an extraordinarily soft mouth feel. Nose: Subtle but rounded nuttyness & barley notes, garnished by a hint of spice. Palate: Elegant texture, gradually opens up with growing sweetness, while an underlying mellow barley note, light nuttyness & gentle, luscious spice emerge mid-way, together with sweetness balanced by underlying dryness. Finish: Sweet-dry balance with nuttyness & a hint of pepper coming through.

The Nose: Fresh fiery chilli combines with fruity mulberry notes The Palate: Complex & full-bodied with spiced star fruit & ripe cantaloupe melon. The Finish: violet, black tea & a bright lime finale. Drawing on influences from South America, Sipsmith crafted this spicy Day of the Dead gin with botanicals & flavours that have an affinity to tequila. For around 3000 years, the Day of the Dead festival has been practised in Mexico, bringing together family & friends, with food at the forefront of their celebrations. Working alongside friends at Chiswick Chillies, Sipsmith crafted a unique recipe combining 7 chillies from around the world. After a full day of tasting a range of chillies from the rather hot Carolina Reaper, to the rich & fruity Chocolate Habanero, to the Black Naga, Sipsmith can confirm these homegrown chillies really do pack a punch. The various chillies are dried & macerated with lime peel, then vapour infused a second batch of lime during distillation to dial up the citrus & balance the spice. Sip in a Margarita, spice up a mojito, or simply top with ginger beer. ...
