Inky, deep violet coloured blend offers youthful, incensed aromas of sweet perfume, wild dark berries, sweet spice & musk. The palate is lush, supple & juicy, showing bold sweet fruit, kirsch & sour cherry, nicely framed by freshness, good wood integration & soft tannins. Delicious on its own or as a partner to rich venison casseroles or even strong cheese. The red cultivars were vinified separately & then blended together. NT 50 yeast was used. Pumping over was done three times per day in red wine tanks. The wine matured in small French oak barrels for 23 months.
