An authentic red Alsace wine, garnet in colour, expressive & aromatic, Burgundy-style, very agreeably Pinot. A bouquet of fresh soft fruit: bilberry, raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, with woodland hints & a touch of pepper. Very attactive on the palate, it is soft & supple, well-balanced, nicely structured with excellent tannins that give it a light but solid framework. On the finish, we rediscover the aromatic expression of a Pinot Noir from a very fine vineyard terroir. The wine is already very enjoyable but can be kept another 4 to 5 years. Serve with red or white meat: beef, veal, lamb, poultry.
