Made from only Scottish peated malted barley, Glenglassaugh water & yeast. Peated to 30 parts phenol per million (PPM) & reduced with Glenglassaugh water to 50% abv. Not chill-filtered, no maturation, no colour & bottled on site at Glenglassaugh distillery.
Colour: Colourless, turning slightly cloudy on the addition of water. Nose: Light & sweet with fruity limes & sour pineapple sitting shoulder to shoulder with a gentle hint of peat, bonfire ash & subtle earthiness. Palate: Initially extremely creamy & full, like velvet. Very sweet smoke slowly climbs to the back palate, peaking with rounded ashy flavours & traces of sweet red liquorice. Wonderfully round. Finish: Long lasting sweet, full & smoky.
