Colour: Pale gold. Like a sunset over the field of Bannockburn. Nose: In connoisseur speak, it's sweet & well balanced, with notes of vanilla, pears, possibly violets, some nuts & fresh hay. Taste: A full flavour with a trace of smoke & a body like a supermodel's (beautiful & light). It's silky smooth with a slight lemon tartness that counters the rich maltiness & almost chewable grain. Oh, & did we mention it had a body like a supermodel's? Finish: Warm & balanced with a slight smokiness. Long for such a delicate blend, with malt & toffee really tickling your toungue. Also leaves strong hints of disapointment on your palate as you stare at your empty glass.
