A nose that evokes a basket of late summer fruit (mirabelle & quince), a full palate with notes of honey, nougat & brioche, exceptional persistence... The year 2004 was marked by a largely dry & warm spring with satisfactory levels of sunshine. The summer that followed, also hot & dry, gave Didier Mariotti reasons for hope. In September, the exceptional maturity of the grapes confirmed his hunch. & when the first wines were tasted, there was no doubt: 2004 would be a Vintage year.
