Firstly, floral botanicals are gently distilled in high-grade grain alcohol to produce a sweet, floral spirit. The gin part of the blend is distilled separately using the Maidstone Gin blend of botanicals. The two distilled spirits are then blended together to produce a floral gin. The gin is sweet & fruity. The sweetness comes directly from the sweet botanicals which are added to the still, namely marshmallow root & meadowsweet in addition to the flower blossoms & fruit pieces which have been distilled. This sweetness, along with the bright flavours from the Maidstone Gin give this expression a lovely light, summery flavour. Botanicals: Juniper, coriander seed, angelica, cardamon, meadowsweet, marshmallow root, orris root, cassia bark, liquorice root, orange peel, marigold, chamomile, rose, cornflower, blackberry leaf, apple, strawberry & raspberry. The gin is then infused with rosehip & hibiscus.
